the biography

Zahra ( zare-uh ) Brittney Schreiber was born on April 18, 1988, in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. She once revealed that she was of Cherokee descent and her mother, Gina James, was a former country singer. Schreiber attended the House of Truth Wrestling School, run by Truth Martini and Jimmy Jacobs, and graduated to follow his dream career in the wrestling world. A dream that was cut short when she was fired from WWE on August 31, 2015.

Wrestling career

Zahra Schreiber was part of DreamWave Wrestling in 2015, but was after her public appearance in LaSalle. His first official in-ring fight with DreamWave was later announced to mark his appearance at Survival of the Fittest on November 7, 2015.

Schreiber had teamed up with co-wrestlers like Danhausen, Crossing, Cannon and Brubaker in a winning effort against Darin Corbin, Marshe Rockett, Prince Mustafa Ali, Mike Hartenbower and Waylon Beck in a ten man elimination match.

Release of WWE NXT

Schreiber was fired on August 31, 2015, when photographs depicting Nazi memorabilia at her Saginaw home, shared with her fiancé, Chad Ruglig, on social media surfaced. She released a statement on her Instagram account to explain her side, saying her interest in the Holocaust came from people opposed to Nazism.

In her own words, she said: “WWE made a decision to release me from my contract due to messages I posted on social media many years ago, long before I employed them” . Zahra Schreiber mentioned that her dream job was to work for WWE. She agreed to take responsibility for her action and apologize to those her post might have offended.

Schreiber also clarified her position on the controversial article saying that she would like to make it very clear that she is not anti-Semitic in any way, she does not condone anti-Semitism. According to her, if one had looked deeper into her post, they would have noticed that the photo was also Marlene Dietrich, a Polish actress opposed to Nazism and who fought for the oppressed during World War II.

The budding wrestler explained that the photos and relics were just a story to her.

While it might seem like everything she dreamed and worked for is gone, Schreiber said that doesn’t define her life. Instead, she would learn, move on, and become a much better person.

Zahra Schreiber’s relationship with Seth Rollins

Schreiber was dating Seth Rollins before the scandal that likely put the relationship on hold. The two girls have been dating for a year, but have decided to end it slowly and she has moved to a new apartment.

Their relationship was seen as controversial from the start and was set to fail. Rollins had a longtime girlfriend, Leighla Schultz, whom he cheated on Schreiber. The scorned lover was able to retaliate and posted a nude photo of the pair to Rollins’ Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts. Neither Schreiber, Rollins nor Schultz ever released a statement regarding the scandal. It was reported that sexting images would have been a career for Rollins but WWE crowned him champion the following month.

However, Zahra Schreiber was not so lucky, obviously the Nazi iconography on her social media and other material of alleged insolence was too heartbreaking to process. While she was quickly fired, Rollins went with her in the months that followed, and it seemed like their relationship was normalizing. Schreiber would occasionally share social media posts that mentioned their happiness. But in the end, they separated.

Before dating Rollins, Zahra Schreiber was engaged to Chad Ruhling, lead singer of metalcore band Fallen Dreams. The duo dated eight years before their engagement broke up.
