Will Muschamp is a former American football player now head coach at the University of South Carolina. Muschamp, a native of Georgia, was also the head coach of the Florida Gators football team at the University of Florida.

Will was born William Larry Muschamp on August 3, 1971, in Rome, Georgia, but his family moved to Gainesville, Florida, where he received his elementary and high school education at Martha Manson Academy and Oak Hall High School, respectively.

When his family returned to Georgia Muschampa then attended the University of Georgia, where he became a member of the Georgia Bulldogs football team and played safety. While still in high school, Will was initiated into a social fraternity known as the Kappa Alpha Order (Gamma Chapter). There he earned a place on the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 1993 and before graduating in 1994 he was made a “co-captain”.
