The voice actor was born on September 23, 1993 in Connecticut, USA. Not much is known about his pre-high school education, but he attended Westhill High School.

He was 5 years old when he started his acting career, appearing in the internet movie Entropy that same year, he began work on the family animation Little Bill created by Bill Cosby. He voiced the character Andrew Mulligan in a total of 14 episodes from 1999 to 2002. After brief stints and guest roles in projects such as Nickelodeon ‘s Dora the Explorer (2000), and Marci X (2003), he was Pablo in the animated series The Backyardigans (2004 – 2006) for 20 episodes.

In 2005 he began work on the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. He voiced all of his lines for 60 of 61 episodes via satellite from his home state in Connecticut. He fulfilled that role until the end of the show in 2008. In 2006, he voiced the character of Lucas Nickle in the animated film The Ant Bully and reprized the role in the short series re-adaptation and accompanying video game. That same year, he was again the voice of Aang in the video game Avatar: The Last Airbender and its sequel the following year.

Eisen’s life has been relatively quiet so far as the media spotlight is concerned, however, some details and rumors about him have managed to sustain interest since he became inactive. In 2014, he was rumored to be in a band where he played guitar. He also played soccer while in college and even went blonde at one point.

He was also rumored to be dating Avatar actor Mae Whitman, who voiced the character – Katara in Avatar: The Last Airbender, who was also Aang’s love interest on the series. Like Zach Tyler Eisen, she has also lent her voice to many animated series and cartoons, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as April O’Neil and Young Justice as Wonder Girl. Her on-camera roles have included guest appearances on television series and films such as Parenthood and The Perks of a Wallflower. Although the rumor eventually went away, Zach and Whitman have neither confirmed nor denied the rumours.
