As a kid, Faist remembers watching a lot of old MGM movies that were mostly on tape. His favorites then were the likes of Singing in the Rain , American in Paris , Star Wars and a few others. He was intrigued by the interpretations of actors and actresses in his early works and was equally imaginative and often had film stories, scenes and characters in his head where he was always the hero of his imaginative storyline.
Faist was enrolled in Gahanna Lincoln High School where he attended and graduated in 2009. Before that, he had already started auditioning for roles in community and children’s theaters in Ohio. After graduating, Mike Faist then traveled to New York where, upon arrival, he enrolled in the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, where he hoped to hone his acting and acting skills. After that, Faist continued to record performances in other theatrical works like Appropriate (2014 at Pershing Square Signature Center) as Rhys Thurston, A Month in the Countryside (2015 in Classical Stage Company) as Aleksei Belyaev. His other film credits include Benny in Our Time (2016), Ben in I Can I Want I Do (2017), then his teenage role in Active Adults 2017 and finally Lawrence in Wildling (2018).
