Hall was educated at Pendleton High School, where he developed an interest in acting before transferring to the Governors School for the Arts & Humanities in Greenville, South Carolina to complete his secondary education. At Pendleton, he performed his first play in a high school production of The Lion King To further improve his acting skills, he attended New York’s renowned performing arts institution, the Juilliard School, where he studied acting and graduated in 2015. He also trained at the British American Drama Academy.

After completing his training, Brandon Michael Hall quickly established himself as a sought-after actor. He started his career with the TV movie 2015 LFE in the role of Kevin. He followed that up with supporting roles in three TV series in 2016: Big City to Remember and The Characters and also appeared in the short film, The Times as Daniel in the same year. Also in 2016, Hall landed his first major television role on the TBS acclaimed series, Search Party as Julian Marcus.
