Scottie Pippen is a retired professional basketball player for the United States of America. He is known for his time with the Chicago Bulls where he won six NBA titles. Playing alongside Michael Jordan, they played an important role in transforming the Chicago Bulls team and popularizing the NBA around the world in the 1990s.

On the 25 th September 1965, Scottie Pippen was born in Hamburg, Arkansas; to Ethel and Preston Pippen. He is the youngest of 12 children. The baller is of African-American descent. His mother was 6 feet and his father 6’1. It made all of their kids big with Scottie being the tallest. Scottie’s father worked in a paper mill until his right side was paralyzed by a stroke. It kept him from walking, affected his speech, and forced him to retire when Scottie was 14.

With her parents’ poor financial situation, they were unable to send some of their children to college. Scottie attended high school in Hamburg where he played point guard and led his team to the playoffs. Although his performance earned him conference honors as a senior, he received no college scholarships. He then attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and began his college playing career.

The professional career of Scottie Pippen

In 1987, Scottie Pippen started his professional career as a basketball player. He was selected fifth overall in the NBA draft by the Seattle Supersonics and was traded to the Chicago Bulls for Olden Polynice and future draft pick options. Pippen was part of Chicago’s young forward. Having Michael Jordan as a motivational and teaching mentor has helped him hone his skills and develop new ones. He made his NBA debut in November 1987.

On October 2, 1999, in exchange for Stacey Augmon , Kevin Cato, Ed Grey, Carlos Rogers, Brian Shaw and Walt Williams, Scottie was traded by the Houston Rockets to the Portland Trail Blazers. After four seasons with the Portland Blazers, he left to sign a two-year contract with the Chicago Bulls where he started his career. The transaction was formalized on July 20th , 2003.

Future was said to be the cause of the divorce as Larsa was seen hanging out with the rapper in Miami. However, Larsa said she was just friends with him. Scottie also believed Larsa cheated on him with Future while visiting her friend Kim Kardashian in Miami. However, a year after Scottie filed for divorce, he decided to deny the Broward County Family Court’s request for a split.
