It’s always inspiring to hear stories of actors who start a show playing a character on the fringes of the script, but then slowly become an integral part of the show’s success. Apparently, Noah Munck’s acting talent must have been good enough to justify such an envious tale.

The actor, music producer and media personality is a relentless achiever. From his time at Disney and Nickelodeon to more mature projects and his music production work, Noah is building an eclectic portfolio for himself. He is best known for playing the character Gibby Gibson on Nickelodeon’s iCarly.

Munck is a Californian boy, born and raised. He was born on May 4, 1996 as the first child of his parents in Orange County, California. Noah was interested in cinema and art from an early age and wanted to make a career out of it.

Subsequently, he took part in auditions fromthe young age of ten. During this time he got a number of commercial appearances, including one for Volkswagen and Kellogs. He also appeared in a national commercial titled “Got Milk?”. Nothing is known about his educational background prior to college. Noah enrolled at Biola University to study cinema and media arts. However, the pull of the silver screen was too great for Noah to wait to graduate. He got out soon after.

Noah Munck was born into a faith-filled household. His mother is Kymbry Munck. His father, Greg Munck, is the senior pastor of Crossline Community Church, a local church in Laguna Hills. Noah’s great-grandfather, Bartlett Robinson, was also a veteran actor in his day.

As previously mentioned, Noah has four younger siblings, three brothers and one sister, Elijah, Ethan, Micah and Taylor. Part of his inspiration to pursue an acting career was seeing his sister Taylor, an aspiring musician, in an “improvisation” class. On one of his earliest projects, iCarly, his brother Ethan plays his younger brother Guppy in five episodes of the series.

Movies and TV Shows

Noah Munck’s first television role came in 2007 in the form of a small role in a single episode of the series We All, entitled Let’s Go Bobby, Let’s Go! After that, he landed a point that would eventually become one of the greatest of his career. He was cast on Nickelodeons as Gibby iCarly. In the beginning he was a fringe character who was a friend of the main characters. However, as the show’s acceptance and popularity increased, his performance continued to gain notoriety. In season four, the show’s writers transitioned from a recurring role to a member of the main cast.

His performance earned him a guest appearance on Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place In 2008, Noah Munck made his big screen debut, albeit a minor role, in Four Christmases as the Screaming Child.

The following year, Munck performed his first voice in an episode of Disney Phineas and Ferb’. And then he took on more guest roles on ER and The Troupe to round out the year. The next year was not as busy as the actor would have liked. However, he ended up receiving two nominations for his work on iCarly and also receiving an Australian Kids’ Choice Award.

In 2011, Noah Munck got to work with Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz on Bad Teacher. In 2013 he was Ben Rogers in Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn. The actor dabbled in guest roles and a few movies like Sam & Cat, Just Before I Go and Arrested Development.

In 2014, he was brought in a recurring role as part of the cast of The Goldbergs.

Noah appears to be intentionally spending more of his time away from film sets so he can focus on the musical aspect of his career. Munck does EDM. He produces his music under the nickname “NoxiK”. Munck works as an independent artist and posts most of his stuff on his YouTube channel and SoundCloud account.

He dropped his first single “Beginnings” in January 2012 and has continued to release occasional tracks ever since. His first experiment, Hotline, was released in April 2013. One of his singles “Killjoy” is a serious EDM success story and was even telegraphed by “EDM.com”.

In March 2014, Noah Munck finally dropped his first full-length EP. street fighter. Two years later, the budding artist launched Sad World , his second YouTube channel, where he expresses his comic genius. Sad World has since garnered an impressive subscriber base, with many enjoying its weird, dark, experimental comedy sketches, as well as its unconventional visual style and editing.
