Vallelonga’s life story begins in The Bronx, New York City, where he was born on September 13, 1959. As a child, Nick always dreamed of a life in the film industry. He also trained with respected drama teachers such as Tom Brennan, Julie Bovasso and William Hickey.

On his rise to fame, Vallelonga appeared in small off-Broadway productions and also had minor roles in television movies and films. He also worked as a screenwriter and teleprompter for many of CBS News’ flagship news programs.

After an uncredited appearance in The Godfather (1972), he slowly took on more uncredited roles such as 1983’s Easy Money, The Pope of Greenwich Village (1984), Prizzi’s Honor (1985) and Goodfellas (1990 ) among other things.

Nick Vallelonga played the character Patsy Deadfall in 1993, which was also his first film as a screenwriter. The film had heavyweights like Nicolas Cage and Charlie Sheen. The remainder of the 1990s saw him in other films such as A Brilliant Disguise (1994), The Climber (1997) and Ryan Caulfield: The First Year (1999).

Nick Vallelonga was born to Frank Anthony Vallelonga Sr. (Tony Lip) and his mother Dolores Venere. Nick’s early acting debut was credited to his father’s acting career. He accompanied his father to his sets as a child. It was how he got many of his uncredited roles, including The Godfather, Prizzi’s Honor, and Goodfellas.

Nick’s father served in the US Army for three years in the early 1950s and began his acting career on the set of The Godfather, same as Nick. Nick also has a brother, Frank Vallelonga Jr., who is also an actor. Frank appeared on the set of A Brilliant Disguise, The Sopranos (with his father) and Green Book along with Nick

Nick’s mother died in 1999 and his father died in 2013 at the age of 82.
