Harry Preston King was born on December 27, 1960. He was a native of Jacksonville, North Carolina. And although he was born in Jacksonville, Harry grew up in Beaumont City, Texas. His nationality is American while he is of White ethnicity.

Harry Goaz got his first acting role when he was cast as Deputy Sheriff Andy Brennan in David Lynch’s mystery horror drama Twin Peaks. The TV series follows the FBI investigation into the murder of Homecoming Queen Laura Palmer. The investigation is led by Special Agent Dale Cooper (played by Kyle MacLachlan) and includes Michael Ontkean and Warren Frost among others. He also appeared in the sequels Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992) and Twin Peaks (2017).

He later portrayed the role of Sgt. Knight in Tim Hunter’s NBC series, Eerie Indiana from 1991 to 1992. In 1995 he played the role of Guard Casey in the American crime drama The Underground alongside Alison Elliott and Peter Gallagher. His next project came in 2005 when he portrayed Layton in the film, Deadroom
