Movie star Elyes Cherif Gabel came into the world on May 8, 1983 when he was born in Westminster, London to English parents. Spent part of his childhood days living in London and Canada, he is of British nationality and of Irish, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Algerian and Dutch ancestry. During his childhood, the actor completed his undergraduate education at the Roman Catholic St Damian Science College in Greater Manchester. While in college, Elyes dreamed of pursuing an acting career after graduating.
Shortly after graduating, he enrolled at StrodesCollege while taking acting classes at the Northern Kids Theater and the Oldham Theatre. Talented in front of the camera, he took part in several of his school’s Broadway productions. His wonderful performances prepared him for his first successful audition in 2001.
