He also appeared in the short film Soldiers of Earth as the younger version of Richard Meen’s character Coyle. The following year, Dylan was in The Returnee , an A&E adaptation of the French series Les Revenants. 2016 was a relatively slow year for Dylan Kingwell. He only appeared in one project, a TV movie called The Wilding where he portrayed the character, Peyton Reddings. The following year he was in Manny’s Dearest as the character Max Clark. He followed that up with the role of Arthur Henderson in the TV movie Campfire Kiss and also played Sean Keegan in Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library Kingwell also had a recurring role as Steve Murphy, the younger brother of Freddie Highmore’s main character Shawn Murphy, on the ABC series The good doctor.
Dylan Kingwell also appeared on Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. He joined the black comedy-drama series in 2017 in a recurring capacity, playing the dual roles of Duncan and Quigley Quagmire. The series is based on a children’s book of the same name by Lemony Snicket. In this show, Dylan Kingwell collaborated with Neil Patrick Harris, Avi Lake, Malina Weissman, Patrick Warburton and Louis Hynes.
