His history with bikes leaves nothing to the imagination if you follow his take on Sons of Anarchy. David Labrava is best known for his contributions to the FX series, but he has also added actors, writers and tattoo artists to his resume.

David Labrava – Bio
October 19, 1962 was the day of the motorcycle enthusiast born in Miami, Florida. There are rumors that he is close to his family, especially his mother, who is now late. However, the names of his parents are not known. The Caucasian-American grew up riding dirt bikes but has no academic history other than the fact that he is a Harley Davidson mechanic. He graduated from the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Company certified Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. Labrava was 17 when he bought his first Harley Davidson piece.
He worked as a tattoo artist and club bouncer in Amsterdam and later moved to Hollywood as a cinematographer, where he worked for the Zalman King Company and learned how to write screenplays.
With more than thirty years of cycling under his belt, David Labrava was the right choice for Sons of Anarchy, who initially hired him to fill the technical advisor position. He later joined the cast of the series as Happy and stayed with the show from start to finish (2008-2014). He also honed his writing skills in the series’ fourth season – Episode 10 (Hands). The episode became the only one to ever win an award on the show, also being recognized by Time Magazine.
Additionally, he wrote, produced, directed, and portrayed a character in his first feature film – Street Level The play can be viewed and downloaded on digital platforms.
Labrava also worked as a writer for PferdMotorradmagazin, where a bike he built made the March 2001 cover. Sons of Anarchy star Dave “DL” Labrava writes a column for national hot rod magazine, Ol Skool Rodz. His articles can be seen in the “Burnin’ Rubber with Jimmy Carbone” column.
He is also the author of a best-selling autobiography, Becoming A Son.

The date and place of his marriage are also unknown, but we do know that he had a son named Tycho Spelis Chiusano. In 2018, a heartbroken Labrava took to social media to spread the sad news of his son’s death. He took his own life on May 5, 2018 after suffering from depression for a while. Tycho was sixteen years old at the time of his death.
Devastated by the loss of his teenage son in such a bizarre turn of events, David Labrava began raising awareness about depression and bipolar disorder, urging parents and everyone to take more care of their children and those around them. Apparently, the TV star assumed his son was happy and never realized he was so disturbed that he took his own life.
In Tycho’s memory, David Labrava set up an online fundraiser to support the fight against depression, bipolar disorder and other mental illnesses that could lead to suicidal thoughts. It’s already accrued $22,708, more than its target of $20,575. This was Tycho’s last wish, according to his family, to donate to a depressed and bipolar organization.
Before making the decision to commit suicide,Tycho was an intelligent, athletic and loyal boy who was always sensitive to the feelings of those around him, often making them laugh. He was usually seen with a smile on his face, but beneath that smile was a depressed child who didn’t know how to ask for help.
