Calum Worthys Bio, Alter
The actor was born in Victoria, British Columbia on January 28, 1991 to Sandra Webster Worthy (mother) and David Worthy (father). He attended Claremont Secondary School, where he stood out as a brilliant student in his class.
Like most kids his age, Calum watched the evergreen adventure/comedy film Home Alone which played Macaulay Culkin before his scholastic exploits. He had a deep fondness for the film’s lead character and subsequently began cultivating ambitions of becoming an actor. Many years have passed and today this childhood dream is a reality.
Calum Worthy devoted more time to training as a dancer, singer and actor, he had to finish his studies in order to fully focus on being the best at what he does. True to his determination, the boy landed his first TV role in Mysterious Paths when he was just 9 years old. In the same year (2001) he took on a different role as Roger/Ratty in I Was a Rat and starred in 3 episodes of the series. The impressive portrayal of his character and the overall success of the series opened up more opportunities for the Canadian actor.
Calum subsequently starred in other series such as Lampoon’s Thanksgiving Family Reunion (2003), Good Luck Charlie (2011) and Wisdom of the Crowd (2017). He has recorded performances for films The Last Mimzy (2007), Rapture-Palooza (2013), Bodied (2017) and many others.

Family – Is he gay or does he have a girlfriend?
One of the things actors and actresses need to grapple with in their personal lives is the impact the characters they bring to life on set have on their personal lives and the interpretations their fans give to the issues that arise. There have been numerous instances of on-screen lovers getting paired up in real life, but sadly, that turned out not to be the case. There have also been instances where actors and actresses are labeled gay or otherwise in real life based on how well they played a character. Calum Worthy falls into the later category.
The Austin & Ally star was rumored to be gay in 2015 due to his role and perfect portrayal of the character Dez in Austin & Ally; Dez had an odd personality and fashion sense. Additionally, Worthy was also not known to have had a girlfriend in real life, or at best kept his dating life as a closely guarded secret.
When his fans couldn’t draw any concrete conclusions from this, they quickly assumed that the actor was probably gay and was afraid to come out because of his parents.
However, before that time, Calum Worthy was rumored to be in a relationship with Raini Rodriguez in 2012. The two had their pictures circulating on social media at the time. Due to the fact that Raini was his co-star on Austin & Ally and neither has commented on their suspected relationship, this rumor has died of natural causes as it didn’t hold much water.
As it is, Calum has no family of his own, he is not married, nor do we know him to have a boyfriend or girlfriend.
